Kutná Hora, the silver treasury and a true gem of the country, was present at the very start of the boom in the Czech Kingdom. Architectural styles, unique buildings from various historical periods and a long history full of wine making. This is precisely what you will find in Kutná Hora, a city whose historical centre with the Cathedral of St. Barbara and Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary are included in the UNESCO world heritage list.
The Sedlec ossuary contains the remains of about 40 000 people. The largest collections of bones are arranged in the form of bells in the four corners of the chapel.
The price does not include lunch nor the entrance fee to the silver mines – but there will be time for both. A visit to the silver mines is not allowed for claustrophobic people, pregnant women and small children.
The tour is offered by Prague Walks. Due to special VAT rules regarding travel services, the price is split in two portions. 11 € booking fee payable through BP16 webshop + 34 € payable to the guide. A representative of Prague Walks may be present in the hotel when you pick up your badge, so you can pay for all walks / day trips there.
