Over 1000 years of European and Czech history is written and hidden in walls of the magnificent construction above the river. It is perhaps not by accident this place was chosen by two emperors of the Holy Roman Empire… We’ll review the royal dynasties chronologically, explore the St. Vitus Cathedral, the symbol of Czech spiritual life, the place of coronations and burial site of statesmen, we’ll talk about old ceremonies, we’ll mention its builders and its mysteries. In the Old Royal palace you’ll have a chance to admire late gothic Vladislav hall – the first large hall in Europe built without supporting pillars. You’ll hear the legend about St. Wenceslas in St George’s basilica, Lobkowicz palace hides the most precious collection of artifacts from the Czech history…We will explore famous Golden Lane – as the legend has it, the home of alchemists.
After enjoying Prague vistas from Hradcanske square, we will set off for a journey through one of the most picturesque streets in Prague known for its house signs, pass St Nicolas church – a pearl of baroque – and finish on the Charles Bridge, spanning the Old Town and Castle for 650 years…
